I've been playing chess on Chess With Friends for about a year now. One thing I notice is that many players know one or two fast mates as White, but once their sequence is interrupted their game slides downhill quickly. Another problem players have is that they are just inexperienced in the game: either they don't understand all the moves of the various pieces, or they're unable to coordinate an attack among multiple pieces, or their openings and midgame are solid but they fall down on the endgame.
I'm here to help you learn how to play chess better. Find me in Chess With Friends: I'm "NextStepChess". If you just want to play a game with me, there's no charge. I do charge a small fee for my coaching services: $10 for 5 games, with commentary, hints, transcription, and suggested resources for you to continue improving. You'll find my coaching is less expensive than hiring a private chess coach, and more convenient than attending your local chess club.
Welcome!
